There are many types of brain injury
When brain injury is mentioned people often imagine a traumatic incident such as a road traffic collision or a fall, but rarely do they think about the other causes of brain injury, and there are many. Every 90 seconds someone in the UK is admitted to hospital after an acquired brain injury (ABI) and the chances are that you know someone who has been affected. Perhaps you know somebody who has had a stroke, a brain tumour or a heart attack and is living with some difficulties as a result. Watch the video below for a brief explanation.
