
Raj’s story
At 21 years old Raj Gataora had been working at a pub to make money for University. On the way home from a shift, the weather was awful, and a deer ran out in front of Raj’s car causing him to swerve.

Jo’s story
Jo Samples, 50, from Clifton is a carer for both her daughter and husband and has been supported by Headway Nottingham since discovering their rehabilitation centre five years ago.

Paddy’s story
Whilst Paddy was a full CPL in the RCT (Army) one of the duties he performed was to volunteer for the Gulf One Campaign. It was there that Paddy acquired a brain injury.

Ette’s story
In January 2011 Ette suffered a TIA which affected the right hand side of her face. Although doctors didn’t think this would happen again, in June 2011 Ette suffered a stroke.
