Our short film, The Art of Recovery, featuring the incredible story of Candice, a former ICU Nurse, is gaining international attention.

The film has been selected as part of a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals commitment at the World’s biggest sustainability film festival. This year the judging panel includes OSCAR, BAFTA and EMMY award-winners as well as leaders from film, media, sustainability, policy and social impact.

The Big Syn International Film Festival educates millions of viewers from around the globe through relatable films about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and inspires them to act on these global goals in their own small or big ways. All the team at Headway Nottingham are indebted to talented local cinematographer, Rodric Francis, for his kindness and compassion in translating Candice’s story and our work into our beautiful, internationally recognised film. See more of Rodric’s work here.
