Activities and workshops

At Headway Nottingham we are keen to aid your longer term recovery with an extensive and innovative range of activities and workshops. We aim to improve knowledge about the brain and how it can be affected by brain injury whilst giving vital tips and techniques to deal with some of the more common problems faced post-injury. We hope to address the physical, emotional, behavioural, educational, social and cognitive changes that may have been experienced since injury in a calm and encouraging environment.

Brain injury does not have to signal the end of aspiration.

We believe that each person that attends is capable of finding their own unique talent and our fabulous tutors, support staff and volunteers are all here to encourage each person to set goals and achieve.  Why not try your hand at creative writing, art or music?  Dip a toe into the world of dramatherapy or get physical with a walking for fitness class?
